  • Registered a potato germplasm OS/01-516 possessing high degree of resistance to potato cyst nematode and moderate resistance to late blight disease of potato (Proceedings of the 52nd plant germplasm registration committee meeting Dated: 22.05.2024)
  • Developed a Suction-Based Potato Tuber Moth Trap for Storage Environments and secured design patent for the same (Design Registration Number: 449111-001, Class: 22-06, Date of Registration: 24/02/2025
  • Involved in the development and releasing of two potato varieties namely Kufri Sahyadri and Kufri Karan resistant to late blight and potato cyst nematodes which is suitable for cultivation in the Southern hills of India.
  • Identified a native entomopathogenic nematode (EPN) species, Steinernema cholashanense from India and also involved in description of three new species of EPN species from India such as Steinernema indicum, S. shori and S. keralense. 
  • Developed integrated strategies for the management of potato cyst nematodes, root-knot nematode, serpentine leaf miner, potato tuber moth, and late blight disease of potato.
